I research possible desk lamps for my sons desk to do his school work. Sitting at the desk his body created a shadow on the desk/his school work. I came to order this lamp. It's versatility and source of brightness coupled with it's inexpensiveness was the winner for me. I am more than happy with the light. You are able to use a desk level (night light) as well as the desk lamp which has the different light sources (colors). It works excellent.A beautiful lamp, you can adjust many colors and brightness to meet the different brightness I need when reading and painting, touch screen switch button is also very convenient. There is a USB charging port to charge your phone, the biggest surprise is the night light function, I will put it next to my bed at night to turn on this function, it works all night long, it avoids making me buy another bedside lamp!I can not believe of beautiful this lamp looks. It has many nice features like stepless dimming, Night Light (love it), and a timer. what else can you ask for? Folds flat very neatly. I bought one to try it out and now I want to buy one more at least.I love white, all the devices I use are white, white phone, white computer, white bed, this color will give me a light feeling. I saw this lamp online and it matches my white computer and desk so well that it looks like it's one piece. And it is also very functional, with many kinds of brightness can be adjusted, the design of the buttons on it is very technological. And the USB port can charge my white phone, and it doesn't make it hot. It's great. It's a superb match.Nice lamp with many shades, flexible and can move in different angles. I thought you could plug it into an outlet but its just a USB cord connected.Very pleased with this desk lamp. I was concerned it may not be bright enough but it is very bright. It is also lightweight and I love that it will travel well with the folding design. The price was great.Works great for a night stand light. My only issues are that the power button glows a little too brightly. It almost lights up the whole room after your eyes adjust. I can live with that. However the place where the power cord plugs into the base needs some work. The cord is very unstable and disconnects with just a light touch. So when reaching to turn the light on, if you bump the base slightly, the power may be disconnected. They should have a recess there so that the plastic part of the plug snaps into place when plugging it in. Otherwise it is a neat and convenient light.Deciding that the $20 range (and minimum 4.5 stars) was for me, the first one (different brand) I bought was a dud, and was returned. This one is a keeper: here's my pro-con list, for simplicity.PROs* I like the style and colors of the lamp, off white and brushed aluminum.* Nice to have a rotating lamp post.* The always lit power button is cool.* Charging phone works as expected, doesn't read "slow charge" (nor fast).CONs* I would locate night light anywhere but in the front, as it illuminated your face rather than surroundings!* The slider to adjust brightness has touch sensitivity inconsistency.* The light adjustment only seems to give me 3, sometimes 4 levels due to that problem.* Surprisingly limited adjustability in both the "neck" and rotating base.
