The clamp does not fit the bottom of the lamp post. The quality control is non-existent because if the seller had checked all parts before sending out the product, he/she would've noticed that the clamp is the wrong size to fit the post. Also although it is a prime return, unlike other returns that do not require label or packaging, this one does & I'm wasting my time to do the packaging - not cool. This is the 2nd lamp with clamp & remote control I've purchased, and when the previous one had a defective remote, this one did not even get past the installation. And you may call me bias, these products are made in China...some may say they're just poor quality. This is a big no no.Update: Customer service reached out with genuine effort to rectify my bad experience. I applaud their attitude to try to understand the issue I had with my initial purchase, and addressed the product defective part that was sent in the package. I am impressed with their receptive approach & willingness to send me a new one with all parts intact & working. Customer service excellence is hard to nail, and I believe this portrays that. Received the new lamp with the color I prefer instead of color that I wasn't keen on (that they offered initially) and now the lamp is in its right place in my room & working beautifully.It really works for me and it come with remote control. There are three colors of lights white, warm and cool. Very practical！The light is great but the parts didn’t even fit together o really wanted to like it I just could make it work for meUm no thank you , it’s great if I want it to just fall over , but I actually need it to stay in place . The light has good throw for a small desk area. I kept mine on the medium temp at full brightness and it was adequate. The remote had a plastic film on it that was coming loose around the power button. I don’t know if this was supposed to be a permanent layer, but I peeled it off. Unfortunately, after doing so the area around the power button has weakened and is cracking from everyday use. Because there's no power button ON the lamp, you're out of luck when the remote breaks. It’s not a terrible lamp, but it’s not the cream of the crop either.RATING: 3 StarsMy eyes are going down hill and always need more light so I can see what I am doing. I am using this light to add to my other one. This one has a good adjustment range and can change several different color levels and brightness.The remote works just fine too. For the selling price this is overall a night light. My only wish is that it was a bit brighter.Hope this helps and thanks..Love how bright it is and the different light options, but it can’t hold its head up and I can’t seem to tighten it up.I needed a extra light for my small desk but couldn't afford to lose any work space. This lamp fit my needs. I easily clamped it to one side of my desk and angled the light over my laptop. I use the brightest setting though it's nice to have different lighting options. The small remote works well, though being quite small, I have found that it's easy to get misplaced under papers on my desk. Overall I am happy with this product.
